Can You Help

If you would like to help financially please TEXT  "Just Giving" quoting CRCH15 followed by a 'space' then your donation amount between £1 and £10 followed by 70070.   Whatever the amount however small .... your help is much appreciated.

Plans to update All Saints Church, Carleton Rode, have now started in earnest.

In December 2016 a new heating systems was both installed and commissioned and lowering the ‘ringing chamber’ floor to enable easy access for wheelchair users has now been completed thanks to the help of local PCC Member, Reg Love, and Peter Kibblewhite.

If you pop into the church this week you will see work now starting on removing some pews from the north and south  side isles to enable open meeting spaces.   (See the photo in the side panel).  This new space will provide much needed multipurpose area which will be used for a village history display, exhibitions, meetings and a children’s area.

The next phase of our re-ordering plan is to install new kitchen and toilet facilities (both of which are badly needed).   We hope to draw up detailed plans and then secure faculty (church) approval for this work this year and then next year we will be working hard at fund raising and applying for grants.

This is where we need your help.

We are looking for local builders or trades people who may be able to help in sourcing material at cost price and/or help to install the kitchen or toilet suite.

If you think you can help or know someone that could, please contact Pat Graham on 01953 860294 or email her at
